Secondary Glazing involves adding another slim-line window to your existing windows. Made from strong lightweight aluminium, it is a slim and discreet, cost-effective method of insulating & soundproofing your windows.
Aluminium Secondary Glazing Blackpool

By fitting Secondary Glazing you could save around 10% on your heating bills. The Energy Saving Trust states that it is an ‘ideal solution if you are unable to replace your existing windows with double glazing’.
Horizontal Sliding Secondary Glazing

Horizontal Sliding Window Secondary Glazing is extremely versatile, slides smoothly and is available with two to five panels. Panels slide within the frame allowing easy access to the existing outer windows & provide ventilation without interfering with curtains or blinds.
Vertical Sliding Secondary Glazing

Vertical Sash Window Secondary Glazing provides thermal insulation and soundproofing for traditional wooden box sash windows, or any other horizontally barred windows.
Panels slide up and down in the same way as vertical sliding sash windows and provide easy access to the existing window. Our Vertical Sliders are extremely versatile, slide smoothly and are available with spring balances or spring catches to hold the sliding sashes in an open position.
Hinged Secondary Glazing Blackpool

Hinged Windows Secondary Glazing can be butt hinged, friction hinged or parallel friction hinged. Excellent for use in hard-to-treat areas such as bay windows and other specialist applications.
Butt hinged units open to around 150° giving full access to the existing windows. Friction hinged units open to around 65° allowing the panel to be held in any given position, regulating ventilation.
Parallel hinged (PIP™) secondary provides a restricted opening for controlled, secure ventilation. Hinged units can be combined with lift-out secondary glazing units, perfect for specialist applications.
Lift Out Secondary Glazing Blackpool

Lift Out Secondary Glazing can cover large areas of glass, remaining hidden from outside and can be lifted out of the frame for cleaning or ventilation.
Where regular access is required, we recommend other systems, such as hinged Secondary Glazing.
